A shocking incident unfolded outside a Melbourne strip club on Friday night, as captured by a new video. A man was struck by a flying chair thrown by a friend, who may have been a former acquaintance, outside Bar 20 on King Street in the city's central business district (CBD). The CCTV footage, shared by Seven News, reveals the chaotic moment. A second video, taken from across the street and posted to X, provides additional context. According to Seven reporter Paul Dowsley, the two men had been at the club before being thrown out. The incident escalated outside the venue, with one man being pushed to the ground by security. In a separate clip, a second man is seen taking a wooden chair from a nearby restaurant while a staff member tries to stop him. The staff member expresses frustration, stating, 'He just asked for a chair! I tried to stop him; it's our top chair, you can't take it.' The man then throws the chair towards the front of the club, where his friend is still outside with security. Despite not aiming for security, the chair collides with the back of his friend's head, causing him to fall to the ground. A security guard is seen laughing and pointing at the victim, while the thrower appears in disbelief. The extent of any injuries sustained is unclear, and the matter was not reported to the police, according to News.com.au.
